Manipulation is a core stone of any personal interaction: either you play by someone else’s rules, or others play by yours, or you both play by the rules of some third party.
If one thinks to be acting under the situation of maximum uncertainty it means that (s)he does not control it. And if (s)he thinks that nobody controls it at all it means that (s)he plays by someone’s rules but does not know the beneficiary. This feeling of the victim (“it happened so and nobody could do anything”) is the basis of all types of fraud, cheating, gambling, unfair negotiations, political practices and other manipulation issues.
